At Immigration in Detroit

Officer: "India, huh? Didn't you girls miss a lot of school?" in the voice adults do when talking to kids.
Me: "No, we go to school there. Med school. :D"
Then he flipped over to our passports. I'm sure the dates 1986 and 1987 were a shock to him. He didn't ask anymore questions. Awesome.

I look like a kid. Someone help me out here. How are my patients going to trust me?

And the guy at the restaurant who thought my friend was taking her 16 year old sister {me} out to lunch. To be fair I thought he was 28. he was 19, Two years younger than me. My bad.

And the woman at the airport who asked my mom if it's okay if she checks her little girls.
How old are you sweetie?
21.
Oh. Whoops!

It's really amusing and has it's advantages. We the main one being when I'm 60 people will think I'm a lot younger. Anyways I have ADD.. and am tired.
Peace

hahaha, so funny! I get that all time...people think im 12 sometimes. I don't get it. Likewise, I assume I'll appreciate it when I'm 60.

some people say i look younger than my real age. but my family refuses to think so. they prefer to think that i look much older than my real age. LOL. but you can take that to your advantage no? like taking a bus ride with children's fare. :P just a suggestion LOL.

You'll be one of those really young-looking doctors at the hospital that everyone says "I've got a child taking care of me!" about, lol. I've seen them here :)

I'd give anything for people to think I'm still 20. But anyone who googles my name knows I'm 26 so that aint happening.

You can see how old I look! And of course, my situation ages me all the more. You are so much like Katherine Heigel in Grey's Anatomy. Too young looking to be a doctor, but then you are. Can't wait to see how you fool everyone with your expertise and rise to the top of the hospital! Love you sis!

I have the same problem. Let me know when you discover a solution- like growth serum that works.
