Blah dee blah blah

I took the day off of work today, because I feel like crap.

I feel kinda bad about doing it.

But everyone and their grandma takes sick days.

So why can't I, without feeling guilty?

The students wont miss me, that's for sure.

I walked into the Math class on Tuesday, (that I just started teaching on Monday) and heard someone in agony:

"Oh mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, Ms. Attitude's back?!?!?! Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? "

..........

Don't worry kid, the feelings mutual.

bwahahahha. What do you do to them?

I find my kids every so often in places. I'm not sure which of us is more embarrassed. On the one hand I'm excited to see them but, on the other hand they usually eye me across the room/restaurant/airport/public place I didn't expect them to be before I see them which usually results in me Monday morning explaining why I was cussing out a man at a carwash--or some other terrible variation.

... Are you kidding me?

I'd be like "Woohoo! Parrrrtay up in heeeeere!" and then crank that souljaboy.

... I don't even know what that means.

I heard someone say it at McDonald's today.

2 words. Push ups. Make that kid do so many push ups that his arms fall off for being so rude. I think push-ups should have a dash but I'm leaving it ok? Don't you judge me.

Aww, I hope you're feeling better now.

Seriously, I wish I could say that to my horrible teacher,
"Oh mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, Mr. IthinkI'macovergirlmodel is back? Why can't he just retire? Or get his dream job as a covergirl model? Why, why, why, why, whhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy????"

You seem really nice. If you were my teacher, things would rock!

i know, isn't it weird that we feel guilty for taking a sick day? i don't take them very often, but when i do, i just don't feel right about it. even though sick days are available for just that purpose.

weird.
