gore's ideas are nice and all...but a bit impractical...a changeover of the entire nation's energy consumption to renewable sources, within the next 10 years??? maybe I'm just being a pessimist but i don't think thats possible...not yet at least...
oh and i can't believe the bit about starbucks either...hmph, oh well

I agree with A.L. I don't see it happening. It'll be good to start, though.
It's so ironic that obesity is still on the rise. Everything seems to health conscious and going to the gym seems to be the trend. But maybe that's why the gyms, light/diet foods are not working: it's all a fad. It's starting in India, too. But at the same time so many restaurants and clubs are opening up people {mainly the upper class} are still getting fatter and fatter.
