Love thy neighbor..
How can I love my neighbors, when they're all a bunch of weirdos?
There is an ex-con living on one side of us that truly despises us because we wouldnt let him put up his fence on our property.
And then there's a Mexican family, that has fiestas every single day with live Mariachi bands that carry on until the wee hours of the morning, on the other side.
And at the present moment, as I sit here and type this, I look out the window to see the neighbors across the street--who claim to be "brothers"--trying to kill each other.
Literally.
One is saying to the other something about "saving" him. And then he goes on and kicks him in the stomach.
I'm sure they are just messing around. But I'm starting to think that they really aren't "brothers" and more like "brothas". Whatever that means.
Maybe I should call the police.

so we have some wierdos in our neighborhood too... other than the ones i blogged about (they're actually self-contained wierdos so i don't mind cause they don't bother anyone)
but there's this family two houses down that comes out randomly in the night and fights and you can hear people yelling and screaming and sometimes that lasts for an hour or more....
I think youre supposed to love them anyways, despite their weirdness. show them that someone cares... and doesnt wanna kill them hehe
love them even if they don't talk to you and ignore you for days. that is what is meant by the quote...
man i love that sign :D
Lol. I have a weird old lady next door who watches me all the time... well, now she watches my husband mostly....funny, how she's always out the front when he is and I never see her. Hmmmmm.
And we have ol' spydog Sam, our italian neighbourhood watch across the road. The front of our house has a nice Filipino family in it -they're soooo nice. I like them the most.
Lol, did your neighbour die yet?
lol. i used to have neighbor in front of my house who was hitting on me, even though he was married. he pissed me off. in that case, i could not love my neighbor at all! but back home at my family house, we have lovely neighbors because i've been living in the same neighborhood for the rest of my life, so those neighbors are basically those i grew up knowing.
I don't have weird neighbors. I jsut have a million dogs. Thank God the mean ones died. But this nice one who was right next door passed away this year. I was so sad even though I'm scared of dogs. He was a baby when I saw him. I was ten. I thought dogs lived way longer than that. :(
My cousin in India loves right in front of a murderer. THe houses are very close to each other. So when I mean right in front I meant less than 20 feet.
hahah. Heard about "Good fences makes good neighbour?". Maybe you should start doing that! :)
lol.. i miss living in detroit. i used to get in fights with my neighbors (we were a bunch of kids).
i don't have any terribly weird neighbors anymore, but they all have cute kids. there's also a reallly cute old man across the street. he's so nice. the weird ones: next to the old man are a family of MULLETS. i kid you not. it is a house of a bunch of middle aged men and women (all brothers and sisters i guess) and an old guy and they all have MULLETS!! and the dullest clothing that is probably 30 years old. its freaky.
heyyy... :D :D :D u seem to have an interesting bunch of neighbours...
:D:D :D:D
with all that entertainment... they surely deserve to be loved!!!! :D
Girl....do you live in da hood? I think you should move. Like now.
Love these comments (LMAO)...
Love thy neighbor is more of when the sh*t hits the fan (natural disasters, world war III, etc...) we are all suppose to be there for each other, sharing food, helping survive, ya know loving each other as Jesus would :/
But as far as neighbors, we've got an Italian mafia man next door growing (or fabricating) some kind of something in his shed... And I can't not mention the lovely renter across the street who must of named her son "F'ing Johnny". LOL, ah the whoas of suburbia.
How can your Mexican neighbors have parties with the whole Swine Flu thing? ...There's just nothing to celebrate...
i have mexican neighbors behind me that like to blast their fiesta music while they cook something with tortilla shells on the grill out back.
